What is the EDP?
The Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) empowers young and aspiring business-minded people with insight into every facet of starting a new business, along with the sustainable resources to settle into a career of their own. Every session is tailor-made to train you to start your own business or venture.

Your 5-day plan, session by session
Two focused live sessions each day, from the entrepreneurial mindset to a finished, fundable project report.
Day 1
Foundations & setting up
- Introduction to the EDP: entrepreneur qualities, mindset, and an ease-of-doing-business approach
- Procedure for setting up a small business, including choosing your business entity
Day 2
Government support & leadership
- Government initiatives for entrepreneurs: PMEGP, MUDRA & Stand-Up India schemes
- Planning, managing & leadership
Day 3
Opportunities & markets
- Business opportunities in domestic & international markets, plus your own business ideas
- Market overview, direct selling, target market, competition & marketing channels
Day 4
Finance & a real-world case
- Composite loans: term loans for fixed assets and working-capital facilities
- Case study of a real business unit
Day 5
Project report & validation
- Writing a Project Report: break-even point (BEP) and ratios for economic viability
- Feedback & valedictory session
Each session is a one-hour live online lecture, with a 15-minute break after the first session.

A career banker with over three decades at Punjab National Bank, retiring as Chief Manager, across credit portfolio, foreign exchange, and HR. He brings deep expertise in export-import finance, credit-risk rating, and NPA resolution, and has served over 10 years on the faculty of NSIC and NIESBUD. A certified Master Trainer in Entrepreneurship Development for MSMEs under Skill India and NIESBUD (2025), he now mentors new entrepreneurs and exporters on building and funding globally competitive ventures.

Dr. Bipin Kumar Srivastava

Dr. Bipin Kumar Srivastava conceived, organises, and owns NEDC and its Entrepreneurship Development Program. A Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, he brings 25 years across research & development, innovation, teaching, and administration to the mission of turning India's youth into job creators.
A self-motivated academic leader with keen analytical abilities and deep subject expertise, he has extensive experience mentoring, training, and developing people, and is a Mentor of the NITTTR-AICTE training program. He has delivered numerous talks on new technologies and emerging challenges, and carries that mission to a wider audience through his YouTube podcast.
